Our Story
A.K. Support Soccer For All was born from a passion for soccer and a belief that every player deserves the chance to thrive. Our founder, Anisha Kinnarath Salam, began her journey as a youth player and went on to compete at the NCAA Division I level at North Dakota State University. Through her experience as a player, coach, and mentor, she saw firsthand the challenges girls and underrepresented youth face in accessing high-quality sport opportunities.
With a BSc in Exercise Science, an MSc in Physiotherapy, and CONCACAF National B and C coaching licences, Anisha combined her expertise with her vision to create an organization dedicated to inclusion, equity, and long-term participation. Today, A.K. Support Soccer For All empowers players through mentorship, grassroots programs, youth camps, and educational resources—keeping kids engaged in soccer, developing their skills, and building confidence for life both on and off the field.
Our Mission
The mission of AK Support Soccer For All Inc. is to support and retain girls and underrepresented youth in soccer by providing safe, inclusive, and empowering environments. Through equitable access to quality coaching, appropriate equipment, and development-focused programming, the organization promotes confidence, leadership, and long-term participation in sport while fostering physical, social, and personal growth.
Our Vision
AK Support Soccer For All Inc. envisions a soccer community where girls and minority group players are equally valued, supported, and represented. We strive for a future in which every young athlete—regardless of gender, background, or circumstance—has the opportunity to thrive in soccer, develop positive character, and build lifelong skills on and off the field.
